To hit longer golf drives your body must be able to produce higher clubhead speeds. Golfers seem to think this will happen all by itself, or by just swinging harder. Has that worked for you yet? The human body cannot magically produce higher clubhead speed. The ONLY way to improve it from your current level is to implement simple, easy and effective golf exercises specific to rotational strength and flexibility.

I have spent the past 15 years developing golf exercises any golfer can do no matter age or current physical ability. I have found that many older golfers disregard their declining physical abilities, and doing simple golf exercises regularly can quickly stop this decline, and in fact, reverse it in many situations.

I have put together a Golf Swing Exercise Program that takes ONLY 3 minutes a day, and it is a 30 day golf swing training program that I am sure will add yards to every club in your bag.

Here is one of the fun, simple and very effective golf exercises in this INSTANTLY DOWNLOADABLE golf ebook.

Instructions:
•	Grab ball, start in golf posture in front of mirror.
•	Slowly swing ball into backswing with arms extended.
•	Reverse motion into follow through. No swaying to side.
•	Without stop swing back and forth 20 times total.
•	One backswing and one follow through equals 2.
•	It is critical to keep head still. No up or down movement.
•	Keep hip rotation to a minimum to increase torque.
•	After 20 rest for 30 seconds and repeat cycle twice more.

Benefit To The Golf Swing:
•	Improves range of motion in backswing & follow through.
•	Creates bigger turn with less tension for increased distance.
•	Develops more width in swing for higher clubhead speed.
•	Improves stability for increased golf swing consistency.
•	Repetitive swing improves swing technique with aid of mirror.

This is a shameless plug, but I want to see you get improvement in your golf swing. To learn more about this golf swing exercise ebook, click here!<!--

“You gotta make a full shoulder turn in your golf swing”. How many times has your teaching pro told you that one? I’ll bet more times than you can count on both hands and maybe your feet too. Learning how to make a full shoulder turn in golf is a bit misleading. There is a right way and many wrong ways to do it, and for most older golfers, it is nearly impossible to accomplish, but I’m going to give you a golf drill and some simple tips to make a full turn the very next time you go out and play.

If you are struggling to make a full turn in your golf swing, you may be going at it all wrong. We’ve got an easy way to fix your golf shoulder turn issue. Do not pay attention to where your arms and hands end up at the top of your backswing. They do not have to be above your head; and your club does not have to be parallel in order to have a full, 90 degree shoulder turn.

Zach Johnson is a solid striker of the golf ball, and right in there in the distance category, and yet most viewers would say he has a short backswing. I can tell you he does NOT! If you look at his top of the backswing position, his shoulders are turned more than the accepted 90 degrees, he just doesn’t want his hands to get to high or disconnected at the top. This is a great model to use if you struggle with your range of motion; or you have shoulder flexibility issues that won’t let you get to the top of your backswing anyways.

Look at the white line across his shoulders. That is a full (over 90 degress) shoulder turn. Look at the yellow line. Notice how his left arm is barely above parallel to the ground. This is profound. Your left arm does not have to go way up to make a full shoulder turn. This is how to get power in your golf swing.

Golf Shoulder “Secret” Tip

I want you to stand up right now. Grab an imaginary golf club; get in your address position, and this time, instead of focusing on your lead shoulder during your backswing, I want you to get your “right” shoulder moving backward and behind you as soon as you start your takeaway. You will be shocked at the lack of tension you feel, and how easy it is to make a full shoulder turn.

The majority of golfers struggle to make a full shoulder turn in their golf swing because of undo tension in their “lead” shoulder. Instead rotate your RIGHT shoulder back immediately and low and behold you now have a tension-free, full shoulder turn.

Also, don’t discount your range of motion. Improving in golf by stretching is an effective and much needed approach, especially if you are an older golfer with declining flexibility.
